Cross-media Advertising

The society has changed dramatically, different media consumption habits and new channels require innovative ways to approach consumers. People are exposed to information clatter all day. To bring advertising messages across, it is increasingly important to serve all media channels that the target audience avails of - in a focussed and structured way. Advertisers and agencies have become aware of this –newspapers adapt to this trend. There are fascinating examples around the planet of how news publishers are tackling these challenges.

“I don’t care about ad pages. I care about great ideas and surrounding the consumer with all media vehicles that a publication has access to.”
Scott Berg, Worldwide media director, Hewlett Packard

The aim of the IFRA XMA Cross Media Awards 2008 is to present the best examples of combining different print and digital channels to bring the advertisers’ messages across. Download our PDF brochure at the end of this page.
