	Allgemeine Infos über die Publikation

	Eine eigene, multimediale Zeitung nur fürs iPad - das ist die Idee hinter der App der Schwäbischen Zeitung, die seit dem 4. Mai im App Store erhältlich ist. Der Download der App ist kostenfrei, genauso wie die mitgelieferte Demo-Ausgabe. Die tägliche Ausgabe der App kostet dann 0,79 Euro. Ein Abo-Modell ist in Vorbereitung.

	Beschreibung

	Die App erscheint an sechs Tagen die Woche jeweils als Abendausgabe. Sie enthält ein "best of" der Beiträge aus der Schwäbischen Zeitung des nächsten Tages, Beiträge von den TV-Sendern der Regio TV-Gruppe, Fotogalerien von der Internetseite schwäbische.de sowie exklusiven Content wie zusätzliche Fotogalerien, 360-Grad-Panoramen und Glossen. Ebenfalls enthalten sind eine E-Paper-Ausgabe und aufgrund der Nutzerangaben gefilterte Lokalnachrichten von der Internetseite schwäbische.de. Schwerpunkt sind Themen aus dem Verbreitungsgebiet der Printausgabe, aber auch nationale Nachrichten sind enthalten.

translation:	The App appears six days a week, as an evening edition. It contains a "best of" the contributions from the next day’s Schwäbische Zeitung, contributions from TV stations of the TV-Gruppe region, photo galleries from the website schwäbische.de and exclusive content such as extra photo galleries, 360-degree panoramas and commentaries. An E-paper edition is also included, as is local news from the website schwäbische.de filtered on the basis of user information. The emphasis is on topics from the area of circulation of the print edition, but national news is also included.

	Grundidee Ihrer Applikation

	Die App soll eine tägliche Auswahl der besten Inhalte aus den Medien unseres Hauses bieten. Wir wollen, dass Nutzer des iPads nicht auf Produkte anderer Häuser ausweichen müssen, sondern von uns bedient werden. Zielgruppe sind alle iPad-Nutzer aus unseres Region, Zeitungsleser ebenso wie Nichtleser.

translation:	The App is designed to offer a daily selection of the best content from our company’s media. We want iPad users not to have to switch to other companies’ products, but to be served by us. The target group includes all iPad users in our region, newspaper readers and non-readers.

Umsetzung

Die App ist seit dem 4. Mai erhältlich. Inhaltlich ist die Redaktion der Schwäbischen Zeitung federführend, hier wurde ein dreiköpfiges iPad-Team installiert. Das kaufmännsiche Betreuung erfolgt im Online-Bereich. In der Redaktion werden die Contents aus den verschiedenen Kanälen gesichtet und für die App zusammen geführt. Die Bewerbung erfolgt wiederum über Print, Online und TV.
