Citygate provides Internet and print AD services for 57 swedish newspapers through our Lokus-concept. The concept includes a common brand platform as well as IT-infrastructure connecting legacy-systems with modern web technologies.
Project description
Lokus provides search and reach ad services to 57 local new media companies.
The basic idea of the project
Basic idea is to provide profitable ad services with growth to consumers and advertisers. The purpose is to create growth in volume and traffic.
The audience segments are 25 and up.
It is about retaining and then growing.
Yes we integrate sponsors and advertisers.

The implementation
The implementation of our services in a newspaper involve ceo, customer service, economy, ad director, IT and marketing. The actual implementation takes just a few days. We have policies for promoting Lokus in print and on web.

Project results
The results are increased traffic and new income and for news media houses.
Lokus had a growth of 33% from May 2007 to May 2008 (May is the high season for private advertising in Sweden).
A week in May 2008 we had around 160000 visits in week 21 May 2008.
Newspapers in our networking are growing their internet business and are building important experience and knowhow.
