   This project, "World Cup 2006", was made by Republika daily, Jakarta, Indonesia. Namely, the project was targeted to increase the number of our readers as well as to raise the circulation numbers and attrack the advertiser. As a whole, these efforts were made to provide the best service for our readers. Regarding to World Cup, this not the first project for Republika. We actively spoiled our readers with special editions of World Cup in 1994, 1998, and 2002. As for World Cup 2006, we provided a wide range of coverage. Not only news, we also published interesting features. Those context was supported by using brand new design which we found in more attractive and fresher. All were presented in 4 pages in Republika. But we had special treatment for some outstanding news or features. In this case, we put them in the front page of Republika. For those who prefered online edition, could still enjoy and find our special edition on our online version, www.republika.co.id. Apart from our daily edition, we also published World Cup 2006 magazine two weeks before the World Cup started. This special service provided a guidance for our targeted readers.
