Executive workshops

Getting involved with convergence can often be a daunting task. Questions arise such as what is convergence, how does it work, what new technologies could we use in our newsroom?

Newsplex executive workshops provide an introductory overview of what Newsplex offers and the chance to learn about core issues, demonstrations of new technologies and to give you an overview of what you can use and how you can use it.

Executive workshops usually last 2 days.

Multimedia journalist training

Developing specific skills on analogue and digital media are crucial for the implementation of a media- convergent newsroom strategy. Multimedia journalist training lasts between 2 and 5 days. We train editorial staff in:



Multimedia graphic and design

The presentation of content is a very important part of the communication strategy of a publishing house. We offer specific courses on skill development regarding audience orientated graphic presentation of content on analogue and digital media.

Change Management for the newsroom

Once the training has begun, implementing projects in editorial departments can be a daunting task. Acceptance of new changes is generally low amongst editorial staff. Therefore we offer a two-day workshop specifically geared towards the needs of management needing to get change through. These training sessions are provided in Frankfurt/Germany and South Carolina/USA as well as directly at our customer locations.
