Christopher Billich
As SVP of Research & Strategy at Infinita Inc., Christopher Billich manages the company's market intelligence and research operations, advising a wide variety of international and Japanese clients on mobile strategy. Christopher has been active in the digital media and communications field for more than a decade. Prior to joining Infinita, he worked as a consultant for online and mobile strategy in the German media and telecommunications industries for 7 years, including assignments with Vodafone D2 Germany, BenQ Mobile and Deutsche Telekom. He holds a cum laude masters degree in psychology from University of Cologne, with a focus on communications psychology, entrepreneurship research and business psychology.

Olivier Delteil
Olivier is Business Development Manager, Digital Division for Groupe Les Echos.
Initially publisher of a trade magazine on marketing luxury goods, Olivier, beginning 1996, joined the Les Echos daily newspaper in order to satisfy his passion for the newspaper industry and new technologies. After working in several different positions, today he is responsible for developing the digital products of the Les Echos group. Olivier holds a master's degree in information science, is a graduate of the Institut Français de Presse (IFP) and Audencia International MBA.
Jochen Dieckow
Jochen Dieckow studied economics at the University of Saarbrücken in Germany and works in IFRA since 1997. He works as Research Manager at the Emerging Digital Platforms and Business Development Business Unit at WAN-IFRA, where he is responsible for business and new media topics. His duties include coordinating IFRA research projects as well as monitoring trends and developments in these areas. He is leader of the Where NEWS? research project. He is also involved in the Executive Programmes of WAN-IFRA. One major project is the eNews Porject, which deals with the business opportunities for newspaper publishers in the mobile e-reading world.
Patrick Grove
Patrick Grove is Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of IPGA (iProperty.com) own’s Asia’s leading network of online property portals. Since its start in Malaysia, IPGA has acquired leading property portals in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India and the Philippines. Patrick Grove is also Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Catcha Media Group (“CMG”). Since the inception of the Catcha Group in 1999, the company has become one of the leading independent media groups in the region. From its base in Malaysia, Catcha has operations in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong that span print and online publishing.
Paul Jansen
Paul Jansen is CEO of SPH Search, a local search and directory company which is owned by Singapore Press Holdings and Schibsted. He is one of the few media professionals in the world to have played top-level roles in all three of the main news carriers: newspapers, TV and the Internet.
Jong Won, Ko
Mr. Ko is head of corporate planning at the Chosun Ilbo, one of the major media group in Korea. Before taking on his current position, he worked as director for media strategy of the company. He has initiated new contents service such as Chosun Ilbo mobile news service, I-reader, I-reader E(E-paper news service). He did also corporate restructuring and created new companies for Chosun Ilbo. He is preparing and bidding for ‘comprehensive TV channel’ with the initial capital of 300 million US dollars. He has two master degrees, mass communications and business administration. He was a business writer for the Chosun Ilbo newspaper. He also worked as a research fellow at Keio University in Tokyo and worked at Arthur D. Little (Consulting firm) and Dalton Investment (Hedge fund).

Reiner Mittelbach
On 1st November 2001, Reiner Mittelbach , Ifra CEO, took over the helm at the Ifra headquarters in Darmstadt as well as the network of Ifra affiliates and representations that has been built up worldwide in recent years.
Mittelbach began his career in 1986 with Unilever in their packaging group 4P. After several positions in sales and marketing, he joined another packaging company called Menshen GmbH & Co KG in 1994 as their marketing and sales director.
Two years later, he became involved with the graphic arts industry for the first time by joining Polar- Mohr, the manufacturer of cutting systems, as their sales director for a brief period before becoming their marketing and sales director.
Two and a half years later, he moved to Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, where he held the position of Speedmaster sales director for Europe and North America for one year before he joined the management team of Heidelberg's business unit Finishing as senior vice president marketing.
Stig Nordqvist
Stig Nordqvist works for WAN-IFRA as Executive Group Director emerging Digital Platforms and Business Development. He was formally IFRA’s Director of Digital Media Research & Executive Programmes Project Leader. He heads special projects within WAN-IFRA such as eNews (e-paper projects in a broad sense), mobile media publishing business models and negotiations, defining new digital media/website opportunities based on extending a media company’s product mix. Stig specialises in business models and strategies for publishers, with particular focus on opportunities born out of the meeting of traditional and new media.

Dietmar Schantin
Dietmar Schantin is WAN-IFRA’s Group Director for Editorial, Advertising and General Management. He started his career as a studio manager at the Austrian Broadcasting Cooperation. He has a Ph. D. in Economics and Technology and worked for five years as a project leader for a management consultancy in Switzerland before becoming the managing director of an online system company, a spin-off of the Styria Media Group in Austria. Dietmar has lead and advised on numerous reorganization projects for a variety of companies including media houses. In 2005 he joined IFRA as the Director of Newsplex and currently advises publishing houses around the world on developing their editorial strategies.

Gunnar Springfeldt
Gunnar Springfeldt is the VP Development at the Stampen Group which is the leading player in the Swedish newspaper arena with ownership of 25 regional and local newspapers, printing plants and social media web sites. Digital development is carried out together with another 20 Swedish local newspapers. Gunnar started out as a business journalist at Göteborgs-Posten, the second largest morning newspaper in Sweden. He has had many management positions within Göteborgs-Postens and the Stampen Group, all of them related to media development. Gunnar is a member of the WAN-Ifra European Committe and WAN-Ifra Global Advisory Board. He is the board member of Stampen owned companies and of the Centre of Sustainable Communication at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Dr. Sugai is Director, Mobile Consumer Lab and professor of Marketing
at the Graduate School of International Business, International University of Japan. He joined International University of Japan (IUJ) in 2002 where he teaches eMarketing, New Product Development, and Brand Management. He is the Founder and Director of the Mobile Consumer Lab @ IUJ (www.MoCoBe.com).
Dr. Sugai’s primary research interests are focused upon mobile, wireless and ubiquitous services and their impact on consumers, markets and societies. His research has been published in a number of internationally recognized journals, and he has been quoted by a wide range of news and media publications including Forbes Magazine, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Business Week, Computer World, Network World, and Wireless Week. He is also the lead author of The Six Immutable Laws of Mobile Business by Wiley Inderscience published in December 2009.
Julian Tan Woon-Ka
Julian Tan Woon-Ka is Chief Executive Officer at 701Search Pte Ltd. A first class honours graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Science, Julian started off as a broadcast journalist for the Television Corporation of Singapore in 1996; He then moved to key positions in media sales, operations and business development.
Over the last few years, he has played a pivotal role in developing strategies and business plans for SPH’s push into the internet and mobile worlds. Before his appointment with 701Search, Julian was the Chief Operating Officer of SPH Search Pte Ltd and he helped to build up from scratch rednano, Singapore’s local search and directory engine.
Vincent Tan
Vincent Tan is the Business development director and co-founder of sgCarMart.com, Singapore’s largest online car portal. Vincent co-founded sgCarMart.com in 2004 while he was still a full-time student. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2006 with a bachelor in engineering. In 2008, he successfully attracted JobsDB in as an investor into the company. He also acquired another web portal, mycarforum.com to add on to his offerings. Under his leadership, the company has grown from being a 3-man team to more than 20 staff currently. Vincent was awarded the Spirit of Enterprise Honouree in 2008 for his entrepreneurial spirit.
Mike van Niekerk
Mike van Niekerk, Fairfax Media Editor-in-Chief, Online, has led editorial development for Fairfax Digital since June, 2001, including the online editions of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age in Melbourne, several sports and finance sites and two paperless newspapers, brisbanetimes.com.au and watoday.com.au. In that time the sites have won seven Walkley Awards, Australia’s highest media award, are the most trafficked news sites in Australia and are market leaders for monetising online news and information. Mike van Niekerk, 54, began his newspaper career in South Africa before migrating to Australian in 1985.

Peter M. Zollman
Peter M. Zollman is founding principal of the AIM Group LLC (Advanced Interactive Media Group), publishers of Classified Intelligence Report, an internationally known consulting group that helps newspapers, broadcasters, dot-coms and technology providers develop services in the $100-billion field of classified advertising. He focuses on profitability and practical solutions in his frequent public appearances and his consulting.
