Product and service quality is frequently cited as
the foundation of quality at newspaper publishing
houses. Put simply, the ISO 9001:2000 international
standard defines quality as the capacity
to evaluate customer satisfaction and take into
account their criticism. The media have lost a
number of their traditional indicators in this time
of far-reaching change, but the ISO standard is
successfully re-focusing the discussion on this
basic criterion.
