Ifra - Where publishing lives

What's your opinion: Who should have been our cover person of the year?

The editors of newspaper techniques selected News Corp's Rupert Murdoch as the magazine's cover person of the year for 2007. Our opinion is that his US$5.6 billion purchase of the Wall Street Journal and the rest of Dow Jones most exemplifies the leading newspaper investment trends of 2007 as well as the strategies being put in place for 2008 and beyond.

Do you agree? Who else could have been on the cover of newspaper techniques for Ifra's Newspaper Industry Business Report 2007?
