Telegraph appoints podcast editor (registration required)

An interesting development that podcasting grows to a significant enough news activity at a newspaper that it now starts to command its own dedicated editor to manage it. Also interesting that the Daily Telegraph decided to bring a radio professional into its print newsroom for this job. The paper says former BBC Radio 5 presenter Guy Ruddle is the first podcast editor of a national newspaper in Britain. (Kerry J. Northrup)
