IFRA Board Treasurer Tore Stangebye

Tore Stangebye is Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Edda Media AS, which was established in October 2006 as a separate company after Orkla Media was acquired by Mecom Group.

Previously, he was Director of Norway’s Orkla Media from 2001.

Before that, he was Managing Director of the newspaper Dammens Tidende from 1997 to 2001, and Managing Director of the printing company Dagblad Trykk from 1991 to 2001.

He also has been Director of the finance department for the Fabritius printing company as well as the Director of Norwegian centre of Informatics A/S.

In addition, he has been a board member and president of several newspapers, distribution and printing companies in Norway.

He joined the IFRA Board in 2001.
