IfraExpo 2005 from 17 to 20 October in Leipzig

Mobile access to the IfraExpo web site:
In cooperation with T-Online, at IfraExpo 2005 Ifra will offer for the first time the possibility to access the most important contents of the IfraExpo web site also via mobile phones, PDAs and Smartphones. The contents will be formatted to optimally suit the receiving device used in each case. Under the Internet address http://mobile.ifraexpo.com it is possible to retrieve information about travelling to Leipzig, tickets, hotels, exhibitors and stand numbers, the programme for the IfraExpo Solution Park, other events at the exhibition, up to and including tips for going out and restaurant recommendations in Leipzig.
“Mobile exhibition calendar” – IfraExpo-tips via SMS:
For the first time, dpa Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH and Ifra will offer visitors and exhibitors a “mobile exhibition calendar”: from 12 October to the final exhibition day, users will receive a maximum eight SMS daily with latest news on lectures, events and services. In addition, there will also be a daily “exhibition weather report”. To avail of this service, users input the keyword DPA FAIR START. Customers of non-German mobile phone providers dial +49.176.88842020. The 42020 service works for direct customers of T-Mobile, Vodafone, E-Plus, O2 and Debitel. The SMS to order the service is charged at the regular SMS rate. Reception of the messages is free of charge.
IfraExpo Gazette and moblog:
The Ifra “newspaper techniques” editorial team will once again report about the exhibition and accompanying events as well as about the city of Leipzig in the daily English-language exhibition newspaper, “Gazette”, and directly via a moblog.
Hotel reservations:
Hotel reservations are being managed centrally by the Leipziger Messe (Leipzig exhibition company), Customer Service Department, Attn. MS Tina König. Phone +49.341.6788344 and e-mail t.koenig@leipziger-messe.de.
IfraExpo shuttle service from Berlin-Tegel:
Many budget airlines, though also regular airline companies, serve Berlin-Tegel airport from all over the world. Ifra has therefore arranged a direct shuttle service from Berlin-Tegel to the Leipzig exhibition grounds. The journey by bus from Tegel to IfraExpo takes just 1 hour and 45 minutes. A total of eight buses will travel to Leipzig and back for a price of only Euro 15 per person and direction. For details of the timetable, bus stops and a booking form, see www.ifraexpo.com. Seats should be reserved before departure.

DHL Freight service for visitors and exhibitors:
DHL Freight offers a special service for IfraExpo: exhibition visitors are offered the possibility to send brochures and catalogues collected during the show to the DHL Freight desk located in the Glass Hall of the Leipzig exhibition ground, where the material is packaged and dispatched directly to the visitor’s home office address.
IfraExpo Wellness Areas:
How about a relaxing break? During an exhibition day packed with impressions, visitors are offered the opportunity to top up their energy levels for their continued tour through the halls in the IfraExpo Wellness Areas, where special NAIS massage chairs are provided for their convenience. The IfraExpo Wellness Areas are located both in Hall 2 and in Hall 4.
Get-Together:
The platform for networking and renewing contacts with colleagues from all over the world against a background of music and light refreshments – free of charge to all IfraExpo exhibitors and visitors.

The musical entertainment “Let's talk about Sax!” will be presented by Lee Mayall "the sax machine“ (www.sax-machine.com). Lee Mayall, nephew of blues legend John Mayall, and his band will offer a musical review of the history of Rock-’n’-Roll, Blues and Soul of the 1950s through the 1970s.
