More than 100 000 readers joined a special FB site and more than 35 000 readers signed a “Bullying manifest” at the FB- site: I will never bylly anyone!
The campaign stirred a lot of reactions among all reader groups. Tens of thousands readers got engaged in the campaign. A number of articles put the spotlight on bullying, both on the perpetrators and the victims of it. A project that was executed with lots of compassion and warmth – and a big heart!

  Implementation and Working team
Four journalists (two online and two paper), a programmer and a designer worked toghether on this project from day one. Through the a special FB page, and through VG.no we told the readers that we planed to run articles on problems connected to bullying, and invited them to give us sugestions and tip offs for what we should write about. The response was massive! The team used the FB page both for contact, for publishing and as a campaign site.
• Facebook-page with more than 103.000 fans, where there still is high activity – half a year after we finished the article series. The journalists working on the campaign used the Facebook-fans diligently as conversation partners and sources.
• Multimedia project run by the online newsroom, but with excellent collaboration with the print side.
• Lots of good stories resulting from good planning and innovative used of reader dialogue along the way.
• 35.000 people ”signed” the bullying-manifest on the Facebook-page.
• A panel of experts which gave readers advice on bullying during the campaign.
• We made and sold «Take a stand»-products after input from Facebook fans.
