Primero, en 2004, creamos la figura de Superbarrio, un equipo de periodistas que va a las comunidades más pobres para conocer y difundir sus problemas.
Luego se dedicaron unas cinco páginas del diario a los lectores. Todas están escritas por ellos, pero fue necesario formarlos, por lo que se dictaron talleres a más de 200 comunicadores comunitarios.
En abril de 2011, se creó en la nueva web de ÚN el canal Tu Voz, un portal en el que la gente puede cargar denuncias y noticias, fotos y videos.
Paralelamente, se crearon las cuentas de Twitter y Facebook, en el que se promovió la participación de las audiencias.
Este año se creó el portal Tu Zona y la cuenta de Twitter de @Tuzonacaracas, en el que los habitantes de la capital pueden cargar los eventos y novedades de sus municipios; y la cuenta de Twitter @almercadoconUN, que nos sirvió para generar comunidad alrededor del tema del abastecimiento y ofertas de productos de consumo masivo (que afecta en este momento a los venezolanos).

First, in 2004, we created Superbarrio, a team of journalists who go to the poorest communities to become familiar with their problems and place them before the public. Then we devoted some five pages of the daily paper to our readers. Because all of them are written by the readers, who needed training, we organized workshops for more than 200 community reporters. In April 2011, we created the Tu Voz (Your voice) channel in the new ÚN website. Tu Voz is a portal where people can upload complaints and denunciations as well as news, photos and videos.In parallel with Tu Voz, we created the Twitter and Facebook accounts, where we encouraged audience participation.This year has seen the creation of the Tu Zona (Your area) portal and the @Tuzonacaracas Twitter account, where Caracas residents can upload the events and news of their municipalities; to these channels we added the @almercadoconUN (To market with UN) Twitter account, that enabled us to generate community around the subject of supply and offerings of consumer products (which currently affects Venezuelans). |

Últimas Noticias es conocido como el diario de la gente, de la participación ciudadana. En dos sedes, la firma tiene un servicio público de atención personalizada de los lectores, además de todos los canales que ha abierto en diferentes plataformas. Los números hablan por sí solos:
-27.972 personas registradas y 278 visitas diarias en el canal web de Tu Voz
-200 personas formadas en talleres de comunicadores comunitarios
-2.400 participantes en 17 foros de interacción directa
- 3 consejos de lectores (uno de ellos, on line)
-5 páginas casi de publicación interdiaria dedicada a los lectores
-388.000 seguidores en la cuenta @Unoticia
-7.077 fans en la nueva página de Facebook
- 27.778 seguidores en la cuenta @tuzonacaracas
-8.759 seguidores en @ALMercadoconUN
-18 estados recorridos por el equipo de Tu Voto Móvil para pulsar la opinión de los votantes en las próximas elecciones presidenciales (faltan nueve estados).

Últimas Noticias is known as the people’s daily, the newspaper that promotes citizen participation. In its two headquarters, the company has a public service that gives personalized attention to our readers, as well as all the channels we have opened on different platforms. The numbers speak for themselves:- 27,972 people registered and 278 daily visits in the Tu Voz web channel- 200 people trained in community communication workshops - 2,400 participants in 17 direct interaction forums- 3 readers’ councils (one of which is on line)- nearly 5 pages of inter-daily publication devoted to our readers - 388,000 followers of our @Unoticia account- 7,077 fans on the new Facebook page- 27,778 followers of the @tuzonacaracas account- 8,759 followers of the @ALMercadoconUN account- 18 states visited by the Tu Voto Móvil (Your mobile vote) team to take the voters’ pulse regarding the upcoming presidential elections (nine states remain to visit). |
