  Project name
  Engaging Our Readers

  General Publication Info
The Wall Street Journal is the world's leading business publication with more than two million subscribers and is the largest U.S. newspaper by total paid circulation.

  Implementation
Please refer to the attached document.

  Project results
Today, WSJ social media editors actively turn to our audience on social networks to extend the way we tell stories online: through the hundreds of reader tweets we've collected via services like Storify and Twitter; the countless user-generated photos we've featured using Instagram, TwitPic and Pinterest; and the scores of reader comments that accompany our posts on Facebook.
This community push has directly led to an increase in followers on Twitter, in fans on Facebook, in engagement across all of our social media accounts. It's also led to a lift in referral traffic.
Most importantly, we've created a newsroom that leans more heavily on its readership than it ever has in the past, and built an audience eager to interact.
