Translation
The EL TIEMPO daily newspaper joined the “Remángate” (“roll up your trousers”) against anti-personnel mines.
 
  Idea and Implementation of your special project  
  Durante el 4 de abril del 2012, cambiamos el logo de la marca, el ávatar de las cuentas, cubrimiento de la carrera 'Remangate. Difundimos fotos de los lectores y usuarios remangados, uso de un twibbon en Twitter, cubrimiento completo en Facebook y Twitter de la carrera 'Presta tu pierna 11K', especial multimedia de EL TIEMPO, etc.

Translation
On April 4th 2012 we changed the brand logo and the accounts avatar for the coverage of the “Remángate” race. We published photos of readers and users with one trouser leg rolled up, used a twibbon in Twitter, organized complete coverage in Facebook and Twitter of the “Lend us Your Leg for 11 Kilometres” race, created a special EL TIEMPO multimedia issue, etc.
 
  Project results and results monitoring  
  Se visibilizó y se generó conciencia en nuestros lectores, en Colombia y en todo el mundo, sobre la importancia de apoyar a las víctimas de minas antipersonal y el trabajo de desminado.

Translation
The story achieved high visibility and raised our readers’ consciousness, in Colombia and the world at large, of the importance of supporting the victims of anti-personnel mines and the work of mine disposal.
 
  Additional comments  
  A propósito de los esfuerzos que las comunidades de diferentes regiones están haciendo para desminar sus municipios como la de San Carlos (Antioquia), EL TIEMPO consiguió mover el debate en redes sociales para establecer si este trabajo le corresponde a la sociedad civil o es una labor exclusiva del Gobierno.

Translation
On the subject of the efforts being made by communities in various regions to clear mines from their municipalities, such as the campaign in San Carlos (Antioquia), EL TIEMPO succeeded in moving the debate in social networks to establish whether this work is the responsibility of civil society or should be done exclusively by the government.
