  24sata is the best-selling Croatian newspaper with an average circulation of 130.000 copies sold daily. Our news site 24sata.hr has more than 3,5 million unique users monthly (according to Google Analytics) and is one of the most popular websites in Croatia.
 
  Content  
  We mainly publish articles from our website 24sata.hr based on two main principles:
1. interest by FB fans
2. importance
We also promote our special projects (applications, prize-winning games, digital subscription...) and our other publications.
 
  Implementation and Working team  
  24sata's social media team consists of our community manager and three administrators. They are situated in the newsroom and closely cooperate with both online and offline editors. The community manager is responsible for 24sata's social media strategy (planning and execution), while the administrators handle operative work (posting, monitoring, evaluation and content research).
Our Facebook page exists for 4 years, but significant FB activities have stated two years ago. It was then that we generated a great number of new fans through a substantial promotional campaign. Our page reached more than 400.000 fans and is the biggest Croatian Facebook page in the media category.
We communicate the page through all of our platforms - print, web and tv. In this way we reach our existing and potential audience and communicate with our readers in every available way.
 
  Additional comments  
  We find 24sata's social activity cruical for maintaining quality relations with our readers/fans. The page is a way of informing, entertaining and listening to them. It is also a practical user generated contet channel through which we receive stories and information from our readers.
Our Facebook page generates between 8 and 12% of traffic to our website and our Facebook fans represent 17% of all unique users on 24sata.hr (Google Analytics). We also use our Facebook activity for increasing brand awareness and image. We do this by producing numerous Facebook application which ad value (fun, information, prizes) to our readers and fans. The applications are also used for co-promotion with our advertising clients (we implement them in the media-mix, as long as they are equally beneficial to our brand).
