  As the number one parenting magazine in Indonesia and the winner of Best Online Magazine Asia Media Award in 2009, Ayahbunda would love to expand the communication with its community through social media, in this case in Facebook.
In December 2011, fanspage of Ayahbunda’s Facebook had hit the number of 130.000 members. Full of excitement, Ayahbunda were willing to appreciate its member by launching The Kid of the Month competition at the same month.
Why Kid of The Month? Ayahbunda knows its community very well and deeply touched by their enthusiasm in showing off their infants or toddlers’ through pictures.
Without any doubt, Ayahbunda launched its very first Kid of The Month with theme Beautiful Eyes, to encourage parents to submit pictures of of their children’s beautiful eyes. Their submissions automatically entered them into a sweepstakes where one lucky parent would win a special prize. It was also chosen carefully. It should be fun, educative and useful not only for children, but also for the parents.
After a-not-so-long debate, Ayahbunda team decided to reward the winner of this competition with a special fun, engaging and educational prize, Chicco Millenium Activity Car.
 
  Implementation  
  - A Promo banner was embedded at Ayahbunda Facebook Fanspage and also at www. ayahbunda.co.id.
- Promotions also held on twitter, which had a huge number of follower at that time (around 30.000 followers). Every promo twit had hyperlink to competition’s page.
- Participants registered as fans at the Ayahbunda fanspage and was also directed to log in to www.ayahbunda.co.id
- Participants uploaded a picture of their infant or toddler through the facebook app of Kid of the Month, appropriate the current theme (in this case: Beautiful Eyes). The size of image could not be larger than 1mb
- One winner was chosen based on the clarity of the image submitted and compliance to the running theme.

  Project results  
  Though the competition was promoted in limited spaces and time (facebook itself, twitter, website and print magazine), the responses from community was totally huge.
Approximately 2000 participants uploaded their children’s photos for the competition during the month. The load caused our web server to frequently jam that month.
