IFRA Italia, now in its 12th year, will present case studies and best practices from insiders of the Italian and international newspaper industry: from industrial production management to the challenges for publishers and editors facing a rapidly changing media environment.
“Developing Business in Hard Times: Creativity vs. Pessimism”: IFRA Italia 2009 proposes remarks, new ideas and actions to take to react against the international economic crisis, the shrinkage of used goods and the downsizing of the advertising in the media industry.

At the end of the Session all the participants will visit the printing plant SEDIT. After the visit coach transfer to Hotel Sheraton Nicolaus for the dinner offered by the Newspaper LA GAZZETTA DEL MEZZOGIORNO. After dinner coach transfer to the printing plant of the Newspaper for a guided tour.

Dinner offered by the Printing Plant SEDIT of Bari at the Masseria Il Melograno of Monopoli.
Venues
IFRA Italia 2009 kick offs at the Printing Plant SEDIT in Bari (via delle Orchidee nr.1, Zona Industriale Modugno) in the afternoon of Wednesday June10.
The registration is at 15.30 (p.m.).
The Opening of Session I is at 16.00, ending around 20.00 (p.m.). A dinner offered by the Newspaper LA
GAZZETTA DEL MEZZOGIORNO will follow, and after it all the participants will visit the print plant of this Newspaper.
On Thursday June 11 IFRA Italia 2009 will take place at The Congress Center of the Sheraton Hotel in Bari (via Cardinale Agostino Ciasca nr. 27), from 10.00 (a.m.) to 18.00 (p.m.). In the evening all the participants will join a dinner offered by the Printing Plant SEDIT at the traditional Masseria Il Melograno in the town of Monopoli. Coaches transfer is provided for everybody.
How to arrive to SEDIT
From the Airport of Bari is possible to reach the SEDIT by cab in few minutes. From. 13.00 until 16.30 a
complimentary shuttle will be available from Airport to SEDIT.
